sound equilizer in actionscript 3

I want to create an equelizer for audio and video files in Flash/Flex.

Please reaply to the following.

1) Is it possible for audio files other than MP3(i.e. FLV, MP4 etc.)

2) Is it possible for video file to display equilizer?

3) I am creating a voice and video recorder application using FMS 3.5.

     Now is it possible to display sound equilizer while recording as well as while playing the netstream ?

If anything from above is possible then please help me out.

yes to all if you're using fp 10+.  otherwise, you can't access the mic using the SoundMixer class.

use SoundMixer.computeSpectrum.
