.swf files won't play

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I recently loaded flash 5.5 onto my mac and when I go to test my movie (command>enter), the swf file opens but then nothing happens. No sound, no images, just a white screen. Did i export it incorrectly or is there something else going on?
