I've tried logging in several times, but whenever I double-click a document to open it today, I get a modal error message box saying:
"Acrobat.com could not contact the server to complete your action.
Why? It's either a momentary glitch with our service or a problem with your web browser or your connection to the Internet.
What Can You Do? Make sure that your Internet connection is working correctly. Retry your most recent action or try to use a different web browser to access Acrobat.com."
Sometimes the modal box shows up without opening my document, and sometimes the document opens and the modal box shows up after it's done opening.
I didn't see any other threads about this. Does anyone know what's up? I'd like to be updating a few documents, but obviously I don't want to corrupt them either if they aren't going to be saved properly.
Is there some kind of 'System Status' page to check on and/or report errors like this? I'm using a University LAN at a large institution (MIT), and sort of doubt that the problem is on this end. I'm also using the most recent version of Chrome on WinXP, and am not in a position to change OSes right now.
Thankfully, the 'server error modal' seems to've stopped now. I've been using Buzzword several years now, since way before it was merged and integrated more tightly into Acrobat.com. I've never seen this error message before, and would still appreciate knowing if there was a more active place to look for 'System Status' (or whatever).
Thank you Acrobat team for having such a great product. I use it to update my resume, and BTW, if anyone knows of any Boston or Cambridge MA area companies (not staffing firms!) looking for AS3/Flash developers, feel free to send a job post link. I'm also experienced with Rails, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Lingo, AS2, and some other similar languages.
