I have an ASP page with the following lines also added in <Head> :
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=9">
< meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
The link to stylesheet .css file is placed after the above meta tags in the <Head>.
Now the document mode in IE9 is appearing as "IE9 standards", but the browser mode is still apearing as "IE9 Compat View". This is visible when you click Tools>F12 Developer tools in IE9.
Please note that I dont have access to the server of the Service provider hence I cannot do the configuration of the IIS webserver myself and have to depend on code only.
Please advise on how to ensure through Code that the browser mode becomes "IE9" instead of "IE9 Compat View" and also earlier versions of IE out of compatibility view.
Please re-post your query at this main DW link:
You will also need to supply a link to your page (or at least a test
page) so that people can view it in IE9 on their systems to know what
you are talking about.
