I was given the task of modifying photos. I have Photoshop Cs2. Here is what I need. I work at a Juvenile center and there are numerous record photos of juveniles that have white or grey backgrounds. What needs to be done here is change all of these photos to one background such as white without altering the person in the photo. I know there is eraser tool and Lasso, but what would be the most time efficient least step method of doing this? Thank one and all in advance for any help.

I don't know what kind of quality you need, but this video shows how to get rid of a background around a person, yet preserve their hair.

Edit: Oops, on re-reading your post I see you have Photoshop CS2. The above won't be applicable. Sorry.

This looks great, but I don't think my version Cs2 has "Quick Selection Tool" on the toolbar. If you have any other suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks.
