I have version 10 and am using Windows 64-bit. I have new photos in my watched folder, but the organizer is not being updated with them. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Use File...Watch Folders to check your settings -- the folders (and whether to watch subfolders), as well as "Automatically Add to Organizer".

Plese see if the following steps fix the issue :

    1. Go to Start > Run

    2. Type in services.msc

    3. Navigate to Adobe Active File Monitor V 10.

    4. Double click to open it

    5. View the start up type and set it to Automatic if not already set to that.

    Thanks. Hope this helps.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well - I used to have PE5, no problems, but since getting 10 it doesn't watch the folders.  I went into services and changed Automatic Delayed to Automatic.  I also had version 5 of Active File Monitor set, so I tried pausing this (ie just leaving v10 on) but still didn't work.  I'm running PE 10 on a Windows 7 64 bit.

    Check all of your catalogs.

I had the default Catalog "My Catalog" as well as a couple of others. When I set the Watch folder I was in a different catalog and the pictures didn't show up for me in the catalog.

Looking in the other catalogs, I found my pictures were pulled into there instead.

I'm not sure how to set which catalog for it to pull into, but if you've worked with multiple catalogs you may want to take a look there.

Thanks - tried that but I only have one catalogue, accessible to all users (there is only one user/adminstrator on the machine and it's not networked)

Still not working for me - I had v5 as well, so I stopped that in case there was some kind of conflict.  Still nothing pulling up automatically.
