QuickTime description in metadata

Hi,

 

I have currently my QuickTime videos (own recordings) with metadata such as title, description, genre, actors... These I can edit and view in various software, both for playback and file habdling. One of them is iTunes. This is very convenient to have these meta data when browsing in video library. Off course I would like to do this with LR.

 

This data is not read by LR. Why not?  Then it's easier to use LR to manage QuickTime movies.

    In general, LR 4 beta doesn't appear to read or write video metadata.   Further, you can't even change the catalog's capture time of a video.

    LR4 release. Looks like it still can't read and write video meta data
