Thank you, I was looking at a post from 2010 where Windows users were getting the HUD Color Picker by hitting Alt + Right Click. So the Mac key combo is Ctrl+Option+Cmd. I have successfully accessed the tool. Now if I could just figure out what it's good for...
Adobe says, "The heads-up-display (HUD) color picker lets you quickly choose colors while painting in the document window, where image colors provide helpful context."
