is there .svg support in browser lab

I have some .svg files that I use as backgrounds for menus etc - they work fine in FF and even IE9 in the real world, but they don't show up in Dreamweaver CS5 live view and they don't show up in any of the Browser lab views even for Firefox - does this program not support .svg? I understand that IE6 and 7 even supported .svg but haven't been able to see on those (not surprised)

Actually they do work in liveview.

Thanks Mark - I was trying the local files and it didn't like that, but
worked with the ones on the server. I couldn't figure out how to reply
to you on the forum, so am sending this.
