No I just wanted to give people an Idea of whats being done with Premiere, You have no Idea how many pepole either went dead silent, or laughed when I told them I was going to bypass AVID DS / Smoke / Quantel and do spot work with Premiere Pro.
And I'm doing it all in the most beautiful and luxurious city in America......Detroit.
When FCP went bust i wanted to test out PP. So i downloaded the trail version and whipped this together... The comments alone were extremly postive. Its the ending that's the kicker. lol I'd love to purchase the whole Creative Suite but - i don't have the money:( BTW: it was done in PP as you'll find out at the end.

Conformed is to take the final footage from transfer and match it the the offline/ rough cut, usually the easy part.
Cleanup is where things get really interesting, usually it means having to remove things like logos off products, removing a signs or advertising that may be visable in the scenes, removing pepole in the shots that aren't supposed to be there, removing pimples off someones face, putting new window on a building, changing the color of a car, turning a road thats bumpy and cracked into smooth pavement, removing strings or wires that may be used to pull an actor or object around the screen, etc. etc.
