The "CF10 feature PDF" says:
Server update... The updates can include hot fixes and security hot fixes for ColdFusion 10.
Will traditional "CF updaters" be a separate process apart from hotfix, cumulative hotfix and security update eg ColdFusion 9 Update 1 (9.0.1)?
Will the update type be specific and say-
Update Type: cumulative or hotfix or security?
Previously patch order had a bearing on the wellbeing of CF. For instance one would elect to install say updater1 followed by cumulative hotfix then subsequent security patch eg CF9.0.1, CHF1, APSBxx-xx. Will CF10 updater manage patch order or prerequisites not allowing incorrect update order?
Thanks, Carl.
The CF10 update using HotFix hf-zeus-00001 did not apply for me. How have others gone with applying HotFix hf-zeus-00001 update?

Hi Carl,
Form ColdFusion 10 onwards, all updates will be cumulative. This means that all fixes of previously relased hotfix be included in any new hotfix which comes later.
Also the previous process of deploying jar files in through Server Manager won't be relevant with ColdFusion 10 as now hotfix jar will be full installer(unlike previous hotfixes which required copying them to lib/updates folder in CF server).
Regarding the error with current hotfix, we are in prcess of updating new test hotfix which will be compatible with the beta release. If you have installed he current one, you can unistall it with uninstaller placed under <CF-HOME>/cfusion/hf-updates/<hotfix name> folder or through Admin (under Installed updates tab on updates page).
thanks,

Hi Sandeep,
>through Server Manager won't be relevant
The online help indicates CF10 Server Manager can be used to apply updates?
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ColdFusion/10.0/Admin/WSfd7453be0f56bba4-2 a6b48f122a6582c7f-7ff6.html
Heading "Apply hot fix"
"You can update multiple ColdFusion Server instances, once they are registered with Server Manager."
Regards, Carl.

How does one correlate the update level report differences between "Server Update > Updates >
UpdatesInstalled" and "Server Settings > Settings Summary > Update Level"?
Thanks much, Carl.
Hi Sandeep,
Further when I ran remove update from:
Server Update > Updates > UpdatesInstalled
The dialog prompted that CF10 would restart. It stopped however did not start. Run SERVICES.MSC and started "ColdFusion 10 Application Server".
Should the dialog be changed or was there a problem and you would expect CF10 to start without intervention after update removal?
