"J" and "E" Tools

Hello everyone. I do have some issues with using either "J" or "E " tools. When I click on the images the tools are kind of set meaning they whould not work around the area that I clicked on but rather near by. When I use "E" tool it would erase near but not at the edge where I'm pointing. Anyone has idea. Please note when I quit CS4 and than restart problem dessapers but than it comes back. Thank to all .

You should ask in the forum dealing with the application in question. The dropdown list leads to all forums; you have to click Go to get there.
