Saving a PDF completed form

Feb 22, 2012 7:17 PM

I have version 10.1 of adobe reader.

I used an evaluation form last year with my committee whereby I could save data on the form and used Save as...so I would have a blank form to use next time and send the saved data to the appropriate individual.

This year I can only save the data if I print it and ask to save a blank form

Please tell me how I can use this form to save the data nad not have to print it.

The form creator controls whether or not you can save form data. Does the purple message bar at the top of the form say: "You can save data typed into this form."? If not, it sounds like the form creator did not save the form so that someone in Reader could save the form data. If you closed the purple message bar, another clue would be an Extended pane next to the Tools and Comment pane on the far right.

    Hope this helps.
