>> Silviu,

Thanks for your reply.

- Did you re-encode for 300, 500, 900 kbps or just change the bitrates in the manifest? Changing the bitrates in the f4m only can make the switching algorithm behave badly.

The manifest is sample source of FMS 4.5 that located in [/opt/adobe/fms/samples/videoPlayer/hds_sample1_manifest.f4m].

I just changed host name from "localhost" to "220.247.0.221".

The F4V was also sample files of FMS 4.5.

This is my Questions.

[Q1] Jump to another keyframe after freeze for a moment when switching between streams of different bitrate.

- Reproducibility : Almost always

- Discoverability : high

- Verification environments: Windows / Android

Windows 7(***) + IE 9 + Flash Player 11.1.102.62

Windows 7(***) + FF 10.0.2 + Flash Player 11.1.102.62

Android OS 2.3 ( Samsung Galaxy Tab ( SC-01C ) + Flash Player 11.1 )

Android OS 3.2 ( Samsung Galaxy Tab ( SC-01D ) + Flash Player 11.1 )

- Steps to Reproduce :

1. Don't use SharedObject.

2. Access sample URL( http://220.247.0.221/videoPlayer/ ) and play a stream.

3. Wait until bitrate switching. ( my case was 3 seconds. )

- please try to make each fragment to start with a keyframe. This can be ensured by changing the fragment length and the encoding GOP to match each other.

>> Thanks. I'll try this.

[Q2] Android Flash Player can't often get correctly current-time of streams. ( OR Pre-played first-fragments? )

- Reproducibility : Often

- Discoverability : high

- Verification environments: only Android OS

Android OS 2.3 ( Samsung Galaxy Tab ( SC-01C ) + Flash Player 11.1 )

Android OS 3.2 ( Samsung Galaxy Tab ( SC-01D ) + Flash Player 11.1 )

- Steps to Reproduce :

1. Access sample URL( http://220.247.0.221/videoPlayer/ ) and play a stream.

2. Current-time will be not displayed at 0 sec, when the player's status is changed from "ready" to "entered playing".

3. Wait for completely playing.

4-1. The Audio is interrupted during a playing.

4-2. The Video is played until completely playing.

4-3. Current-time is displayed larger than the total-time( duration ).

ex) Assuming, displays the current-time was 3 sec. Total-time( duration ) is 114 sec.

[Started playing]

Current-time -> Start from 3sec.

Video -> Play from 0 sec.

Audio -> Play from 0 sec.

[Completed playing]

Current-time -> Display in 117( 114 + 3 ) sec.

Video -> Play until current-time become to 117 sec. ( play for 114 sec ).

Audio -> Play until current-time become to 114 sec and be interrupted. ( play for 111 sec ).

Thanks.
