How do you save pictures where you have zoomed in? I have pictures from an African safari and I want to zoom in and save them but after I zoom in and do other editing, the zoom effect disappears. What can I do to save the zooming in effect?

You'll need to use the Crop tool to change the image to a smaller size and focus on the area that you want.
If you don't want to permanently alter the image that way, when you're zoomed in on it, use the Windows Screen Snipping tool (Start...All Programs...Accessories...Snipping Tool) to capture the image as it's displayed on screen and save it as a PNG file on your hard drive.

By "zoomed in" do you mean that you want an object in the foreground, such as a lion, to be in sharp focus, and the background to be slightly blurred?

Is this what you are trying to do?
Here I just want the blue bird. I used the Rectangular Marquee to select it.
Then Edit > Crop and save the result as a new file.
Or you can copy the selection to the clipboard (Edit > Copy) and do File > New from Clipboard.
The result is the same with either method:

Hi You can use the Image crop tool to zoom in the image and cut the zoomed portion.
