Hi, havent been able to find a justifiable reason as to why the Australian price for a downloadable full version is higher than most if not all other countries globally.
Can anyone hazzard a guess as to why Adobe seem to gouge Aussie users more that $20 - $50 more than other countries for the same product. I rang the sales hotline thinking we must be paying for a local sales team, but no, it was off to India like the rest of the world. They even tried to tell me other countries paid more than we did. Heck we are even been asked to pay an extra $54 for the boxed version over the download version.
Come on Adobe. Please justify this as I want to buy it but a lot in Australia feel we are getting ripped off.

Hi Geoff,
Given that there is zero petrol used getting the downloadable version onto my pc I can't see how that would make mine dearer
or maybe Adobe Australia have big generators running all their servers hence the more expensive price tag.
But seriously, not sure about NZ but most governments gouge when it comes to fuel taxes.
