Comment Duplication in Reviewable PDFs

Does anybody know how to avoid comment duplication in reviewable PDFs?

 

I am currently experiencing two different problems (I create my reviewable PDFs with Acrobat Pro X and my colleagues use Adobe Reader X to open them):

 

1- When my colleagues open my reviewable PDFs with Adobe Reader X, all the comments are duplicated. However, If I reopen the document on my side (with Acrobat Pro), I don't see the duplicates.

 

2- When my colleagues insert comments using Adobe Reader X and that I reopen the document using Acrobat Pro, all the comments are duplicated. Sometimes, some comments are multiply by 4 or 5.

 

I hope somebody could help us.

    Are your comments duplicating on the screen or in the Comments List as well? What point version of Acrobat/Reader X are you running?

    Hi,

    The comments are duplicated in the list of comments. When I select each one of the duplicates, they all point out to the same comment on the page. As for the Acrobat versions (Pro and Reader) , we are running 10.1.2.

    Hi,

     

    We are experiencing the same problem - single anotations on a page, however the comments are duplicated in the list of comments.  Did you ever get a resolution to this?
