LR 3 to LR 4 problems

I have been using LR 3 and now have LR 4 BUT I do not want any of the photos in LR 3 to be imported into 4. I want to start fresh in LR 4. But each time I try and open LR 4 I get this message and I'm not sure what to do...thanks for any help!

    I've not upgraded yet but here's an easy workaround if needed. Create a new catalog in LR3 with one image and convert that on in LR4.

    Just click on  "Choose a different Catalog" and you'll get an option to create a new catalog.

     

    Then when LR4 is open, go set your Default Catalog in the General Tab of your Preferences to be the newly created catalog.
