Why do I get a error message Access Denied when I try to save a downloaded .pdf file?
Windows 7 - 64 bit Reader 10.0
I don't see such a disk icon in my Adobe Reader. I just saved a downloaded PDF file from Adobe Reader 10 (on Windows 7 x64) using Save as... into my Documents folder; no problem with that.
How do you open that PDF: in the standalone Adobe Reader, or inside the browser?
when you download a pdf file at the3 bottom of the file a grey control bar appears with a buhch of icons on it like a printer and a diskette. I click on the disket and it brings up a browser to let you choose where to save the file.
Does the same thing happen if you choose Save as... from the File menu?
Does the same thing happen if you select a different target folder, e.g. My Documents?
Can you save other files into that target folder?
