Q: I didn't see my preinstalled InDesign/Fireworks Extensions when I launched Extension Manager CS6

For InDesign:

1. Check if there are any *.zxp files under

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\InDesign\Version 8.0\\Extensions\REMOVED\"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/InDesign/Version 8.0//Extensions/REMOVED/"

  Move all of them to

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\InDesign\Version 8.0\\Extensions\"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/InDesign/Version 8.0//Extensions/"

2. Backup all files under

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\EM Store\InDesign CS6\"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/EM Store/InDesign CS6/"

  to somewhere else, and remove all of them.

3. Remove all files under

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Mxi Flag\InDesign CS6\"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/Mxi Flag/InDesign CS6/"

4. Remove all files under

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Configuration\"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/Configuration/"

5. Restart Extension Manager CS6.

 

For Fireworks:

1. Check if there are any *.zxp files under

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Fireworks CS6\PreInstall\REMOVED\"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fireworks CS6/PreInsall/REMOVED/"

  Move all of them to

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Fireworks CS6\PreInstall\"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fireworks CS6/PreInsall/"

2. Backup all files under

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\EM Store\Fireworks CS6"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/EM Store/Fireworks CS6/"

  to somewhere else, and remove all of them.

3. Remove all files under

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Mxi Flag\Fireworks CS6"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/Mxi Flag/Fireworks CS6/"

4. Remove all files under

    Windows: "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Configuration\"

    Mac: "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/Configuration/"

5. Restart Extension Manager CS6.
