I have IE 9, Windows 7 (Vista) 32-bit. I installed the updated version of Flash Player 188.8.131.52 and now videos won't play on ANY website. I have read just about every discussion relating to my problem and have tried everything, including checking to make sure Active X Filtering is not checked, making sure Flash Player is enabled in Manage add-ons, uninstalling and installing Flash Player numerous times even disabling my Firewalls (Windows Firewall & CA Security for Roadrunner), also clicked on internet options to check the security levels to make sure they were set on Medium and checking to make sure active scripting was enabled under Security for Internet and Trusted Sites. I went to the about adobe page to see if Flash Player was running and if so, what version. There was nothing showing, not even an error message. I also noticed a few times people mentioned a spinning "F", but I never saw a spinning "F". I have spent so much time trying to figure this out to no avail. What am I missing?
...and now videos won't play on ANY website.
What do you see instead - white space, black space, or a message that you need to install Flash Player?
What files do you have in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash ?
What is your display adapter, driver version & date? See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765.
Thanks for responding.
Files in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash:
Display Adapter: NVIDIA
Driver Version: 184.108.40.20630
Driver Date: 6/19/2008
When I try to play Video I get Black Screen which says loading but nothing happens. If I right click it says movie not loaded.
On Roadrunner, I just get a Blank White Screen.

First thing to try is a clean install; follow the instructions here http://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315
but download the actual installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-pla yer-windows.html#Install_in_a_firewall_proxy_server_environment
You should also check if there is a newer device driver available for your NVIDIA card: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx
