Second pub not showing up? Help please.

A few questions.

 

How long does it take from hitting the Publish button until it shows up on the ipad?

 

Also, when i hit the Notify button i get:

 

"An error has occured while sending the notification. Your push certificate has expired. To upload a valid certificate, rebuild your app in Viewer Builder and retry sending the notification."

 

Our app was updated last week with current certs using the latest viewer builder and approved by apple yesterday. How can this be? What can I do to resolve it?

    You need to log in to the Apple iOS dev center to make sure both the Dev and Prod push notification certificates are valid. The error is quite clear, one of them has expired.

    At the moment I believe we check the validity of both certificates when you push the 'notify' button.

     

    After that you'll need to rebuild your viewer so the new certificates are uploaded to our servers .. no need to re-submit to Apple though

    As for your first question (sorry I missed it), it should ppear as soon as the publishing action has completed.. unless you are using the same product ID for both folios, in which case you'll get problems.

    Thanks for the reply.

     

    It's not showing up. I've reinstalld the app. Been about a half hour now.

     

    I have someone looking into the certificate thing now. That's confusing because we fixed all of our certs last week.

    Okay, it's been an hour and still nothing.

     

    I have concerns because someone at Adobe (i don't know who, my boss was working on this) was moving our account or adjusting the master account. I don't know exactly what they were doing.

     

    How else can i get support? Or is this it?

     

    Also, I have not heard from our IT staff about the certs.
