After configuring Cloud Provider and Adobe CQ WEM License, I tried to start my first CQ cloud.
It failed, cloud status says 'blue'
In the activity log I can find the following entries
Install failed for node: /var/clouds/content/companies/private/cognifide/clouds/cf/author1
Install failed for node: /var/clouds/content/companies/private/cognifide/clouds/cf/dispatcher1
Install failed for node: /var/clouds/content/companies/private/cognifide/clouds/cf/publish1
In Amazon AWS Console I can see 3 m1.small instances created.
The system log of publish instance shows:
RightScale: Installing RightScale on centos-i386
RightScale: Querying metadata server...
RightScale: Successfully retrieved user-data from metadata server
RightScale: Local RightScale package found in /root/.rightscale/rightscale_5.6.28-centos_5.4-i386.rpm

Starting RightScale services; output is recorded to /var/log/messages.
RightScale: Initializing ec2 instance data.
RightScale: curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404
RightScale: !!!!! User data empty
RightScale: No EIP, current IP=107.21.134.178 done...
RightScale: RS_rn_id not found in user data. Not attached to RightScale.
RightScale: RS_rn_id not found in user data. Not attached to RightScale.
Using stop button I managed to remove instances from ec2, so CQ cloud talks to Amazon EC2 and configuration seems to be correct.
