Exporting to PDF question

Apr 4, 2012 5:26 PM

I am exporting my document to a pdf and I have not problem doing that.

But when I open the PDF it opens at 293%. How can I export it so that when it opens the PDF that it opens at 100%

If you're exporting out of InDesign CS5.5 and you choose File > Export > Adobe PDF (Interactive) you can specify the View (magnification) setting. It will open in Acrobat or Reader at that magnification.

If you're exporting to File > Export > Adobe PDF (Print), or if you have an earlier version of InDesign, you have to do it AFTER you create the PDF in Acrobat. In Acrobat, choose File > Properties > Initial View > Magnification. After you click OK, and quit out of Acrobat, it will open at your desired magnification in Acrobat and Adobe Reader.

Did you somehow overlook Steve's references to different versions of InDesign?
