TextInput Dispatch focusOut before focusing in

I'm running into problem where textInput dispatches focusOut event before focusing in, and this happens the second time I click the control.

So, I clicked the textInput, it's focused in, then the second time I click the textInput, it dispatches focusOut before focusIn.

This is a problem b/c I'm trying to do an update during focusOut. Has anyone run into this problem ? is this a bug or am I missing something ?

use trace to listen events instead of alerts. post your code, that might be helpful.
