I've created metadata templates in Bridge for a variety of reasons, but cannot find any way to completely strip the metadata out.
Specifically, I need to remove the exposure data (fstop, shutter speed, ISO, file size, etc...). Would like to keep the camera model in there however.
How is this done? (Bridge CS4)
Searching the forum seems to be more challenging that originally thought.
You have a link to one of these scripts/methods, or keywords I should use that will produce the desired search results?
To find a different fourm clck on the black FORUMS heading at top of page. Then click the drop down box to seclect forum.
Scripting fourm is http://forums.adobe.com/community/bridge/bridge_scripting
probably use search keywords of metadata, or strip metadata
Found the forum alright, was curious if you had any links to these scripts/methods for removing this specific metadata elements.
Only results I was encountering simply detail the obvious information in the "metadata" section of Bridge. Couldn't find anything offering info on removing f/stop, shutter speed, and ISO information.
Bingo! It's a two-step process, but works perfectly from what I can tell so far.
First, remove everything, leaving completely blank metadata.
Second, replace the blank with whatever metadata template you want to use.
And then the other side...
Bizarre, turns out you can remove the metadata so it doesn't show up in Bridge, but it's still there.
Just "get info" in the Mac OS and everything remains. It's simply no longer visible in Bridge.
