FLASHPLAYER DOWLOADS DISAPPEAR !!!! HELP!!!

I downloaded Adobe Flash Player 11. Computer told me it was successfull but apparently it wasnt cause I couldnt find it, wasnt listed under "Start".
So I downloaded it again, & again was told it was successful. I should have been told it was already there, but wasnt, which meant I was right, it
really wasnt there from the first time, so where did it go????? Well, went to look for the second download, and couldnt find that one either.
OK, SO CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE THIS STUFF GOES, DISAPPEARS INTO THIN AIR TO??? HELP !!!!!
