Converting pdf to excel: problem in format numbers

Hi to everyone,

this is my first post.

 

I've a problem.

 

I type from Italy.

 

When i convert a table in a pdf format to xls, the xls files has the digits in USA form (1,000 for 1 thousand and not 1.000).

 

So Euro 1.250.000,00, becomes Euro 1,25.

 

There's a way to change that?
