Do I need to puchase Adobe 10 to update from Adobe 9? Will only version 9 update downloads work with version 9?

Which Adobe product are you trying to upgrade from and too? I am assuming by the version it is either Photoshop Elements or Premiere Elements?

As Jeff said, we need to know which product exactly you mean. Could be PSE, could just as well be Acrobat based on your use of version numbers...
