Adobe SWF Investigator is an open-source application so you can see all of its code on SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/adobe/swfinvestigator/wiki/Home/ For the auto-updater, you should look at: http://sourceforge.net/adobe/swfinvestigator/code/11/tree/trunk/Native ApplicationUpdater/ and http://sourceforge.net/adobe/swfinvestigator/code/11/tree/trunk/SWFInv estigator/src/updateManager/ . It is based off the NativeApplicationUpdater project: http://code.google.com/p/nativeapplicationupdater/ .
