my computer tells me that adobe 5 is not compatable with my windows (windows 6)

My compter keeps telling me that Adobe 6 is not mot compatible with Windows 7

    Download and install Adobe Reader X.

    Well, you are being told thar Adobe Acrobat is not comptible with Win 7, which may be true, but this is the Adobe Reader forum. The Acrobat forums are here:

    In any case, Adobe does not reccomend having both Acrobat and Reader installed in the same machine, unless they are both v. X.

    That v. was for version.

     

    If I really needed Acrobat and it was working for me, I would delete Reader. If all I wanted to do is to read PDF files, then I woud delete that very old version of Acrobat.
