    Hi,

    Please provide us with the installer logs.
    You can find them at:

    For Mac
    Library\Logs\Adobe\Installer
    For Win
    Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Instaler

    This would help us in resolving the issue. You can send them to asnigam@adobe.com

    Thanks so much for the summary and the additional information. I have forwarded all this to our installation specialist to evaluate.

    He will sift through it and see if he can figure out what the deal is with your particular  situation.  Sorry you are having such difficulty. I assure you that this is the exception rather than the rule.  Please provide him with the requested files.
