Transfering Flash on a different OS

Apr 8, 2012 8:59 AM

Dear Adobe, I have a licensed copy of Adobe Flash CS5 for my windows 7 desktop. I have read that I am able to install my copy on up to 2 computers: one stationary and one mobile. I wish to install my copy of Flash onto my laptop so that I can work mobile, however my laptop is a macbook pro and my current copy of Flash is for windows. So I am asking if there is a way to get my copy of Flash onto my laptop hopefully without having to purchase an additional copy that's specifically meant for Mac OS.

I appreciate your time in reading my message and hope to hear from you soon.

It can't be done. You are confusing activations and licenses. Licenses/ serial numbers are platform specific, so even if you release one activation, it doesn't do you any good. yopu will have to buy another license or transfer the license completely to your Mac with a platform swap at the cost of losing your Windows version.
