How to Recover Lightroom 4 Folder Structure?

While managing my folder strucure I inadvertintly hit the button of the parent folder on my Folder Navigator box.  As a result ALL of the time dated folders were deleted in the navigator tool.  Great news is that the Catalog file is still solid  and the original source photos on my hard drive are in tact.  No lost source data other than I no longer have a date structure for the folders to help me navigate.  When I try to retrieve the folders and their accompanying structure by just clicking the button it doesn't allow me to retrieve, or reestablish, the links to the hard drive folder source files.  I assume it is because they already are imported in my catalog so there is nothing to import???  Suggestions?

When you hit the - button in Lightroom, you are given the chance to confirm the removal of that folder from LR. If you went ahead and confirmed ... then photos/folders are removed from LR, but not your hard disk.

You imply (but don't state) that you confirmed the removal of the photos from your catalog. Then you say "Catalog file is still solid", which could mean a lot of different things. So could you clarify that you confirmed the removal of the photos/folders by clicking on "Remove". Could you also explain what "Catalog file is still solid" means?

You say there is no longer a date structure for the folders to help you navigate, yet you also are implying (but not stating) that all of your photos remain in your catalog. Show us a screen capture of the Folders panel. Can you actually see the photos in the Grid? What happens if you right-click on a photo and select "Go to Folder in Library"?
