error message when downloading epub book

I have tried to download a couple of epub books the last few days. It hasn't worked, no matter what I do, and I have tried a number of things. One was a book I'm trying to borrow from my library, and the other was a sample book from the ADE help site here.  I keep getting the message

Error getting license

Server communication problem:

E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED

 

I am using Windows Vista on a laptop pc, the latest version of ADE, and IE9.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sometimes this error comes from a computer's time and date settings.  Make

    SURE that your computer has the correct time, date AND time zone settings.

    Look twice to verify them!

    Thank you! That did it. This darn laptop is notorious for not having the correct time and date. I'm always haveing to correct them. Thank you very much for your help.
