why does the flash player installer add a copy to task list everytime I click it?

and why does it not do anything else ?

I am using Firefox 11

Windows XP64

3GB RAM

ASUS motherboard

AMD AM2+ 3GHz CPU

120GB HD with 50 GB available

It shouldn't do that...

Download the offline installers from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-pla yer-windows.html#Install_in_a_firewall_proxy_server_environment

P.S. Make sure that the tasks from the AIH installer are terminated before you attempt to install with the offline installers; best restart Windows.

64-bit Flash Player Plug-in for (All other browsers) fixed it. Thank you very much Pat
