Your response inspired me to start poking around and watching videos because I couldn't figure out what I was missing. Apparently, I had NO scatter brushes in my libraries, hence the reason the option to view scatter brushes were greyed out. As soon as I started creating brushes, that view option became available and all is well in my scatter brush land now. Thank you.
And, Jacob, thank you for going further in depth with the answer. I do believe that everything has been resolved since I am now able to see them, create them and use them.
