Not sure this is the right forum....first time posting.....but it's the closest I could find.....my apologies in advance if it's not the correct place. Anyway, I have had Acrobat 9 for quite a while now, but have never been able to get it to scroll page continuous. I have read article after article regarding how to set it for how I wish to view a .pdf file, and have selected that preference for my documents; however, it still just jumps from one page to the next. I am not exactly a newbie, and this has worked fine for me in all previous versions of Acrobat I've had. Is there another setting somehwere in Acrobat, other than the obvious preference setting, I have to set for this function to work properly?
Thanks for your help. Although I don't see "Enable Scrolling" under Page Display, I did see the option for Single Page Continuous; and once selected it started scrolling the way I wanted it to. So, why then, if I have Single Page Continuous selected in the document properties, doesn't it do anything?--not that it matters now, I guess, since this makes it work right...just wondering. Thanks again!
Oh! I thot Acrobat X. Yes, Single Page Continuous is the option in Acrobat 9. So under Document Properties select -> Single Page Continuous and under page magnification select 'Fit Page' and then try.
It seems that whatever I do in Properties with respect to scrolling continuous does not work. I can set it to scroll single page continuous, save, exit out, and then when I re-open it, it still does not function as such.....it just still jumps from one page to the next. Magnification does work okay, so whether I select Fit Page, 100%, or any of the other options, that functions properly and saves with the document....I just have never been able to get the scrolling to function that way. What you suggested in your first reply does work, but only if I click, or select, that option each time I'm in the document (or any document, for that matter). But....at least I do now have a way to get it to scroll properly, if only after selecting it while I'm in the document each and every time.....it doesn't hold or save that feature upon saving the document. But thank-you again....you've shown me a way to at least get it working while I'm in the document(s). Appreciate your assistance.
