Why is my Adobe Reader not searching for any specific words?

Apr 14, 2012 8:18 AM

I have an E-Book that I am looking at for one of my classes.

When I do a control-F to find any word at all in the book, which is about 700 pages long, nothing is found.

I search for the, and, a, anything.

Nothing comes up at all. It just says, "Reader has finished searching the document. No matches were found."

How do I fix this?

Are you able to select the text on the PDF? If not, then it could be that the PDF contains scanned images and not text as such.

Also, would it be able for you to provide me such a PDF which is exhibiting this behavior on your system?
