CS 6 crashed as I was attempting to use the Patch Tool. I had made a selection and started to move it and it crashed. This was the second attempt to do so.
Here's some data:
<Provider Name="Application Error" />
<TimeCreated SystemTime="2012-04-15T22:08:16.000000000Z" />
<Data>C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe</Data>
The temp files as stated in the left panel are non-existent and the Photoshop Crash folder in that location is empty!
Did you dismiss the above dialog before looking for them?
That means you crashed in the video card driver for your ATI card.
First, try updating the driver. If that doesn't work, then you need to contact ATI (because they'll need more info to find and fix the driver bug).
Chris, FYI, I received feedback from DxO about a problem and they recommended I disable GPU acceleration, noting " the video card in your system is conflicting with the operation of the program. "
Interesting. Now I can go to ATi with two sightings in different programs.
The driver is up to date as of this evening, but the update info from ATi said a new update was coming 4/15. It hasn't shown yet.
