Ligatures problem while doing PS-to-PDF

Hi,

 

We are facing one problem in InDesign CS5 while created PDF by using Acrobat Distiller settings.

 

 

In our indesign document, we are using Ligatures within the paragraph. And we create the PS, from PS, PDFs are created using Acrobat distiller. The problem is, when we open the PDF, all the ligature words are broken into two words.

 

For example, the word "finally" in the InDesign CS5 becomes "fi nally" in PDF. And we are not able to find the word "finally" within the PDF due to this spacing issues.

 

Can anyone help me on this.

 

NOTE: When we export the PDF directly from Indesign, we don't have any issues. Everything comes correctly.
