Spry Menu backgrounds not displaying in IE8

Hi,

sorry to trouble you. I have looked around the forum and tried to rectify my problem, but with no luck.

I normally do Spry menus just fine, but this time I think I may have tried to do too much with it. The menu works absolutely great in Safari, Firefox and Chrome and also newer versions of Internet Explorer on Windows 7. However, it does not perform on Windows XP IE8. The background images do not show and the menu iw white, with white text (not helpful).

I read Altruistic Grampa's remarks on similar problems and tried to put my new CSS after the original content, but have not managed to fix the problem.

This is the CSS:

    Hi, I think you have to put:

    background-image: url(menu_bg.png);

    in the last rule:

    ul.MenuBarHorizontal li.MenuBarItemIE

              {

                        display: inline;

                        f\loat: left;

                        background: #FFF;

              }
