Question:  "Reader could not contact the server to complete the request"

I am signed in to Adobe using my Adobe ID & password, and trying to convert a PDF to MS Word.  But I keep getting the above message when I click "Convert."  It's enough to make an atheist out of me! (Sorry for bad wordplay . . .)  Any ideas?  Thanks.
