How do I turn off those stupid screen tips in Reader?

I can figure out how convert PDF documents to whatever. I'm not that stupid. In the meantime, don't patronize me, and don't waste my screen space doing itl

I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but try: Edit > Preferences > General > Messages form Adobe

Thanks. Found that, but somehow decided it didn't work. Turns out it did.
