A question about Upgrades and upgrades thereof

I'll keep this simple;

I have CS5.5 Production Premium. Suppose I upgrade to CS6 production Premium. Nice and simple, now for the question;

If, when CS6.5 comes out and I decided to upgrade, would it be considered an upgrade from 5.5 or 6 for pricing purposes?

I presume the older the software the more expensive the upgrade.

FYI; answered in another forum where I asked the same question;
The last version installed is considered the veersion being upgraded from.

Yes, absolutely right - it's from the most recent version you have to the current release... and for the suites, the shorter the distance the less expensive the upgrade.
