Is there any way of converting the .fm files to doc(word) format?

    Hi,

     

    Open the fm file in Framemaker and click File-->Save As--?.txt and it would get saves as a txt file only.

    You get a superior conversion if you use a product called MIF2Go to export FM docs to Word (and HTML too).

    Save as Microsoft RTF1.6 and then open in Word and save as DOC.

     

    Don't be surprised if your formatting gets broken in a variety of places.
