Font anti alias lost after applying a filter

This is a problem I've been dealing with since I've started using Flex, but I've been told to put my question here. Antialiassed fonts look nice in Flex, but when you put a filter on them (or on the underlying object), their anti alias effect is gone... how can I resolve this??
