Line spacing and text.

The line spacing feature in ID 5.5 is completely erratic. The spacing will not change between text and when it does it jumps randomly.

I've tried trashing preferences etc.

The symptoms you describe are usually associated with having Align to Grid enabled.

Thanks Peter. I started methodically going through settings and turned off align to base grid and this solved the problem.
