With the Photoshop CS6 beta coming to a close and the 60 day trial period expiring, you'll be looking to uninstall the beta software from your system.

It is recommended that you uninstall the Photoshop CS6 beta prior to installing the official release of Photoshop CS6.

Uninstallation is easy, and can be done in just a couple steps depending on your Operating System.

Important: Do not attempt to manually uninstall or remove Photoshop CS6 beta by dragging folders to the Recycle Bin (Windows) or Trash (Mac OS). Doing so can cause problems with uninstallation, and installation in the future.

Instructions for uninstalling the Photoshop CS6 beta:

On all Operating Systems, ensure that Photoshop and Bridge have both been quit before uninstalling.

Windows

Uninstall Photoshop CS6 Beta (Windows XP)

• Choose Start > Control Panel > Add Or Remove Programs.
• Select Photoshop CS6 from the list and click Change/Remove.
  
  
• Select the items you want to remove
  
  
• Click Uninstall
• Allow the uninstaller to complete then click Close
  
  
  
  

Photoshop CS6 beta should now be uninstalled in Windows XP

Uninstall Photoshop CS6 Beta (Windows 7)

• Choose Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
• Select Adobe Photoshop CS6 from the list and click Uninstall.

• Select the items that you want to remove

• Click Uninstall
  
  
• Allow the uninstaller to complete then click Close

Photoshop CS6 beta should now be uninstalled in Windows 7

Macintosh

Uninstall Photoshop CS6 Beta (Mac)

• Navigate to your /Applications/Photoshop CS6 folder
• Doubleclick on the Uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS6 uninstaller alias
  
• Select the items that you want to remove
  
• Click Uninstall
  
  
• Allow the uninstaller to complete then click Close

Photoshop CS6 beta should now be uninstalled from your Macintosh
