having problems with form spam--what code do I add to disallow links in form fields?

I'm having problems with form spam on an employment application form. What code do I add to disallow links in form fields?

 

I'm assuming humans are filling out the form

    Hi hexidecimal2,

     

    If it's bots submitting the form you can add captcha (image varification) to the form to stop them.

     

    In case it's humans you'll need to add some javascript validation to either the existing form validation function or embed your own form validation. jQuery makes some of this stuff easy - http://docs.jquery.com/Plugins/Validation

    With out sites we have forms being spammed with Captcha though Mario. Not all and constant but when they do its like 10 entries a pop. I think either through OCR or another method the current BC captcha is comprimised. IT is not on a huge scale but I did pass it on to the engineers.
    Not certain of it though but a human entering info in such a short space of time does not seem likely in the cases we have had it.

    A couple of my clients' sites are also getting spammed even with the captcha. I guess the BC crew will have to make those letters even more nasty, deformed, and hard to read. I'd be interested in an update on this in the future.
